All that endures Ashes of all that was The bastard son Spewn forth in salvation Descend, descend faster now The end, the end draws ever nigher All that remains All that lingers on Perseverent One embody, bearing light Descend, descend faster now The end, the end draws ever nigh I’ll never regret What I can’t remember This barren husk of Earth A graveyard sonder

Of all reluctance, ‘neath the tree of regret Wounds inflicted, I shall never forget This remnant shade, this solecistic form Like Lilith cast aside, condemned and reborn What is the consequence? Of remnant shade? Traumatic rebirth In blasphemy, remade Sinful birthright whence affliction emerged Hypocritical existence, born body and soul diverged Why make us sick, why command us to be well? In eternal tribulation we toil and dwell What is the consequence? Of chaos-woven scorn? This shattered subsistence In desolation, forlorn What is the consequence? Of this pyrrhic war? Dilemmic hunger In hellfire, reforged

about

Dedicated to all the North American forests destroyed by wildfires in the past several years.

"The stripped down and minimalistic production rounds off the cold atmosphere that clearly was intended. A nice 3-track set of a charming project (Lolth) that I will be keeping an eye on... [Bloodfeather] employs dynamics with enchanting ambiental passages and more up-tempo blazing Black Metal. I am truly quite impressed." ~FelixS, VM Underground Fanzine

"Bloodfeather's music has a few similar points to [Stellar Descent], but the main echo one hears in the long instrumental passages is that of early Wolves in the Throne Room. "Tempest of Soot" makes one feel inside a storm of ash, indeed. Lolth, meanwhile, goes even deeper into second-wave fury than before, channeling old Darkthrone like a drow cleric would convert an Inflict Wounds spell, her drumming as merciless as always, the guitar and synth melodies ripping into one's ears to inject rage against fascism and the destruction of the environment." ~The Antifascist Black Metal Network
