"Tempest of Soot" makes one feel inside a storm of ash, indeed. On m'a souvent répété : "tu verras : quand tu vieilliras, tu seras de droite" (que Dieu ou je ne sais quelle entité céleste si elle existe m'en préserve). Du coup, en écoutant F.B.I, je me suis posé une question : est-ce la vieillesse qui rend les vampires si acariâtres ? Dans cet E.P., Abysmal Specter nous fait profiter d'un raw black metal vampirique mais il est hyper dynamique avec des riffs qui sortent tout droit du rock'n'roll et du skate punk : bref, c'est une énergie juvénile.
